This is the gold standard and you can be sure that any school that has it is a legitimate school that offers a quality education. The next thing you are going to have to consider is what kind of schedule you want for your classes. Some online colleges work on the semester system that will require you to stick to a fairly rigid schedule. Other schools will offer self paced courses that allow you to work on your own schedule. While self paced courses are much more flexible they aren't for everybody. A lot of students really struggle when they have to create their own schedule, you will need to decide if you are one of these students or not.

There are quite a few other factors that you are going to have to consider like where are you going to write your exams. If there is a school nearby it is usually best to choose them since you will be able to write your exams on campus. If you can't write your exams on campus you will need to arrange for a proctor. This is a major hassle and can get quite expensive. You are also going to want to think about things like cost and the reputation of the school you are considering.
